Dr. Nicki always takes great care of my senior dog, Sassy. I know she will get the best treatment here. The staff and assistants are also kind, caring, and helpful. Living in the south hills it can be a bit of a drive, but it is worth it for the care my dog receives!!

The entire team genuinely cares about every pet’s health and well-being, often suggesting the most common/easy solutions first instead of recommending unnecessary surgeries or treatments. They have also gone out of their way to accommodate my very anxious dog, which we both appreciate.

Our senior dog Pebbles couldn’t move her back legs very well and she would stand and shake uncontrollably due to arthritis. Dr. Nikki recommended a probiotic that helped Pebbles tremendously. She is running around the yard now with our other two knuckleheads. You would have to see it to believe it!! All of our pets go to Allegheny Veterinary Associates.

Just recently discovered AVA after wanting a second opinion. We were so impressed that we will now be switching our gang’s veterinary needs to AVA after thirty years at Avalon. Absolutely fantastic experience! From the time I called, my cat had an appointment within an hour and was walking out with a clean bill of health only 90 minutes from the first phone call. They were professional, cared for my cat like she was their own, and were reassuring throughout the process. I couldn’t recommend this veterinary clinic any higher!
